2-2-5-5 Schedule
The 2-2-5-5 schedule gives each parent the same two weekdays every week, plus alternating five-day blocks. It's a 50/50 split with fewer transitions than 2-2-3.
Sample 14-day cycle
Blue = Parent A. Rose = Parent B. This shows one full rotation.
How it works
- 1Parent A always has Monday and Tuesday.
- 2Parent B always has Wednesday and Thursday.
- 3The Friday–Sunday weekend alternates, giving each parent a five-day stretch every other week.
- 4The full cycle is 14 days.
